6 week handbuilding course - Wednesday evenings. October 21st.-November 25th.

This handbuilding course is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to more seasoned makers.

Teacher: Anna Wallenius 

In this 6 week course, Anna Wallenius will guide you through the fundamentals of coil, slab and pinch techniques. Whether you have never touched clay before or already have a few clay adventures under your belt, there is plenty of room to explore, experiment and make things on your own pace. 

Anna will share techniques, tips and inspiration while encouraging each participant to develop their own ideas and way of working. 

Language: Teaching will primarily be in English, but Anna also understands and speaks Icelandic beyond the basics. Icelandic speaking participants are very welcome and questions can be asked in either language.

Expect a relaxed, welcoming studio environment and the rewarding experience of turning a lump of clay into something uniquely yours.

We encourage students to bring snacks or food for nourishment. Hagkaup is also located next to the studio. 

At the end of each class the teacher and students help out with cleaning the studio. This includes cleaning your tools and wiping tables. Lastly we mop the floor around our work station.
